SARS-CoV-2 Nucleocapsid protein, His Tag (NUN-C52Ha) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Met 1 - Ala 419 (Accession # QHO62115.1). Mutations P13L, R203K, G204R, G214C were identified in the SARS-CoV-2 Lambda variant (Pango lineage: C.37).

Molecular Characterization
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 47.4 kDa. The protein migrates as 55-65 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.
Purity
>90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, 0.5 M Arginine, 1mM PMSF, pH 7.3. Normally trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
